Careers — Fyshwick, Canberra

Build homes that go where people need them.

Adapt Homes designs and delivers Not-So-Tiny Houses on Wheels from our workshop and display house on Dairy Road. We're a small team, which means the work you do here is visible in something real — you can walk into it, close the door and feel whether it was done well.

Working here

Small enough that your judgement counts.

There isn't a layer of process between having a good idea and trying it. If something about how we quote, build or hand over a home isn't working, the person who noticed is usually the person who fixes it.

Our clients are often downsizing, moving closer to family, or finally building the life they've been planning for years. That gives the work a weight we like. It also sets the standard — for finishes, for follow-through, and for how we talk to people who are making a big decision.

Real flexibility

Hours and arrangements shaped around your life. Part-time is genuinely on the table for most roles.

Variety in the week

Time at the display house, time at the desk, and the occasional market or expo around the region.

A short line to the top

No layers to escalate through. Decisions get made in days, not quarters.

Open roles

What we're hiring for right now.
